Description

The Sæplast Hopper 1000 is a bulk material container designed for efficient storage, handling and controlled discharge of ingredients, granulates and liquids. It is developed for industries where hygiene, precision and reliable flow are critical, including food processing and pharmaceutical logistics.

With a capacity of 1000 litres, the Hopper 1000 supports high-volume operations while maintaining a compact footprint. Its design allows materials to be stored securely and discharged in a controlled manner, improving workflow efficiency and reducing manual handling.

The hopper is manufactured as a one-piece rotationally moulded unit using food grade LLDPE. This seamless construction ensures high resistance to corrosion, eliminates weak points and supports long service life in demanding environments. Compared to metal alternatives, it offers a lighter weight solution without compromising structural performance.

A key feature of the Hopper 1000 is its optimized discharge system. The 60° outlet cone prevents bridging and ensures consistent material flow, while the large filling opening supports fast and efficient loading. The bottom outlet, available with different valve configurations, allows precise control during dispensing.

The Hopper 1000 is designed for easy handling with forklifts and pallet trucks, making it suitable for integration into existing logistics systems.

Typical applications include:

  • Storage and handling of ingredients
  • Transport of granulates and powders
  • Handling of tablets and food components
  • Use in food and pharmaceutical production

For operations requiring greater capacity, the Hopper range is also available in a larger 1800 litre version, offering the same design principles and performance at increased scale.
