RFID
Sæplast offers a wide range of tubs, pallets and other products, which can be equipped with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags. The RFID ensures that each tub is marked, tracked and easily managed. RFID is a powerful wireless solution that stores information and keeps track of your products. RFID tags have varying storage and reading distance capacities. This is determined by the RFID frequency, form and size. RFID tags can be embedded or attached to Sæplast products and by using an RFID reader there is no need for physical contact or direct line of sight. One of the main RFID benefits is the read/write capability; information can both be read and changed easily.
Saeplast has the ability to offer a 3-in-one RFID solution. The UHF RFID chip is embedded onto a label with a QR code and a bar code. The label is permanently moulded in, making it a part of the container. This is an all-in-one solution.
Barcodes & QR Codes
We are also able to equip Sæplast tubs, pallets and buggies with customer barcodes.The barcode contains machine-readable data and is frequently used in warehouses for stock assessment. The barcode can e.g. connect a serial number to the engraved number on the product for easy data registration.
The main benefits of using barcode technology is that barcodes provide a uniform standard, the technology is widespread and the investment cost is low.
