With a lifelong connection to the fisheries industry, I began working in fish processing and at sea at just 13 years old. I hold a Level 2 Ship’s Captain License and a B.Sc. degree in Fisheries Science. Before joining Sæplast, I gained extensive experience across a wide range of roles within the fisheries sector.

Since the spring of 2007, I have proudly served as a Sales Agent at Sæplast. Over the years, I have worked with customers across diverse industries and geographies, including Iceland, Ireland, Greenland, Denmark, the Baltic countries, the Faroe Islands, Russia, South Africa, and beyond. Sæplast containers have connected me to fishing and processing plants, fishing vessels, the meat industry, various food sectors, and recycling operations worldwide.

Beyond my professional work, I dedicate time to my family, horses, and the outdoors. I have pursued a wide range of sports to maintain a healthy lifestyle and, in recent years, developed a passion for construction, renovation, and gardening.

Although my work has taken me across the globe, my roots remain strong in Dalvík. I feel fortunate to call this community home, to have raised my children here, and now to watch my grandchildren grow up in the same place.
